Error Code 1056-4 When Installing Office 365 / 2013
Error Code 1056-4 Description:
Error Code 1056-4 can occur if there’s a problem installing the 64-bit version of Office, if temporary files are causing a conflict, or if a previous install of Office failed.
Solution for 1056-4 :
If you see Error Code 1056-4, close the error message, restart your computer and then try installing Office again.
To fix the problem, use Task Manager to end any Office install process or remove previous installs of Office before installing

Windows 10 and 8 & 8.1 :
1. Press the Windows logo key + X to see a list of commands and options.
2. Click Programs and Features.
3. Click the Office program you want to Remove.
4. Do one of the following:
> In Office 2019, 2016 click Remove > Continue.
> In Office 2013, 2010 click Uninstall.
Windows 7 :
- Close the error message.
- Open Control Panel.
- Go to Programs and Features.
- In the list of installed programs, search for the latest version of Office, click it, and click Change.
- Click On line Repair, and then click Repair.

- Try updating your router firmware
- Use Disk Clean up to delete temporary files and temporary internet files
- Reset Internet Explorer settings
- Reset the Task Scheduler
- Try a hard wired connection
- Create a new Windows Admin profile
- Temporarily disable your antivirus and firewall
